Ashleigh & Derick - Aug 29, 2009

As a very nice surprise in Mid August I got a last minute wedding booking for the 29th.  Ashleigh & Derick had booked me and I didn't even get to meet them until the wedding day!  They had a lovely venue in Frederick MD called Milton Ridge, complete with a private bridal cabin, a pool, a quaint little chapel and a large reception area.  The Milton Ridge folks had this wedding down to an art with lots of finely tuned details like water bottles with "Ashleigh & Derick" labels, a robe for the bride with her name embroidered into it and a special private gift to the bride. If you are in that area, Seriously consider this venue for your wedding.. it was truly a gem.

Ashleigh & Derick carried on a very cool family tradition where the bride opens a lace umbrella and she and her groom dance around the room and start a conga line.  Everyone gets in the line waves their napkins as Ashleigh and Derick leave the reception to get into their limo.  This is how the bride and groom leave their party.  LOVED IT!

Ashleigh and Derick were so fun, their entire family was ready for anything and they proved that at the reception.  The entire day was a pleasure with all of them!!  I hope you enjoy some of their pictures as much as I enjoyed my day with them.  Ashleigh & Derick... I loved hanging out with you!
