New Wedding Service: Trash the Dress !!!

So you may be thinking.. "Trash the Dress? I could never ruin my beautiful wedding gown. I love it so much!" To that I say.. "Does loving your beautiful gown mean cramping it into a box in a dark corner to possibly never be opened again?" Yes, preservation was the way of old, but today there is a whole new world of photography out there and with it comes incredible images. (And truth be known, you are very likely to be able to save the dress with a professional cleaning... which you would have done anyway, right?) Spend a little time with me REALLY loving your dress by forever preserving it in gorgeous images of you and how happy you were wearing it.

Need more information? Well, last weekend I had the opportunity to photograph two beautiful, fun and crazy women. They modeled for me so that I could share these images with you. We spent 8 hours together going all over town to all the coolest places we could thing of to get some great "Trash the Dress" images. WOW did it pay off. This was definitely my most fun day in the photography world so far! (No! You would never have to spend that much time doing this session.. we just couldn't stop. It got addicting and we just wanted to keep going all day.)  You gotta give these women major kudos.. they submerged themselves in a pond in the last week of October for these images.  Jenni and Olivia you rock bigger than life!  Thank you!

Thanks Bill Merlavage for teaching me how to use every morsel of light I can get.  Our last shots were at the pond and it was nearly completely dark.  I wasn't planning on being out so late or I would have had a tripod and clear images.  But they were still pretty so I decided to share. :)

This was my very first venture into Trash the Dress sessions. Please post feedback!

Now I ask you... Wouldn't you love for you and your dress to be glamorized like this? Let me know what you think of these. I could not select just a few, so you are getting all my favorites!! Enjoy... WE DID!

While we were out shooting my awesome husband called and asked me where we were.  It was great that we happened to be on the tracks because he was calling me to tell me there was a train coming.  We had time to set up a couple shots.  This one was my favorite.  Thanks Sweetie!!
